“Could Not Recommend Enough!
I came across Jeni’s Cakes and Flowers just over a year ago when I started planning my wedding for August 2026. I had no idea where to start when it came to searching for a wedding florist, but after Jeni was recommended to me by word of mouth, I quickly booked a consultation with her to discuss flowers.
Right from the start, Jeni was friendly, approachable and easy to talk to. She explained very clearly how everything would work and provided lots of visual examples from previous weddings she had worked on, which really helped us get a clearer picture of what we were aiming for. No question was ever too much, and in the weeks leading up to the wedding, when my partner and I had a flurry of ongoing questions, Jeni was always prompt and helpful with her responses.
On the day of the wedding, everyone, including my husband and me, was completely blown away by how stunning everything looked, from the aisle pew decorations and centre pieces to the gorgeous arch and bouquets. Our guests commented on the flowers throughout the day, and we couldn’t have been more grateful for all the hard work Jeni put into helping make our day so special.
Alongside the flowers, Jeni also provided us with favour shortbread biscuits, which were beautifully decorated and laid out on the table for each guest. They added such a lovely touch to our reception and, just like the flowers, fitted our colour scheme perfectly (and, of course, were delicious!).
If anyone else is in the initial stages of planning a wedding, I could not recommend Jeni enough! My husband and I very much hope to have the opportunity to work with her business again in the future - whether it’s for cakes or flowers. An all-round amazing service from start to finish!”

“My wife and I found Jeni brilliant to work with during the planning stages of the wedding. She helped us decide on a one tier cake and then a cascade of cup cakes underneath. An added bonus was fitting on cake toppers we wanted. The cake was delicious and we had lots of positive comments from our guests.
We went for a spring flower combination and were amazed with how vibrant, pretty and elegant the final arrangements were. The bouquets and pew end flowers also lasted in water for several days after the wedding. Again, we had a lot of compliments on our top table flowers from our guests.
Jeni was excellent with answering our queries throughout the build up to the day which put us at ease. We were given time and plenty of options to make sure we had everything we wanted for our day.”

“Jeni’s Cakes & Flowers were, without doubt, one of the best suppliers we hired for our wedding. I only ever communicated with Jeni by email, except for one phone call at the very beginning, but the communication was so thorough, to the very last detail, and everything was done exactly to my wishes, with the end result being simply perfect.
The wedding cake was made exactly to my design and requirements, from matching the colour of the icing to the ribbon I wanted to use, to the lace effect detailing and an intricate peacock draping down the side. I had a combination of traditional fruit cake and flavoured sponges for the 3 tiers, with a large variety of flavours to choose from. I had also asked for some cupcakes for the children where handmade toppers were added to these, just as I asked for, to match the peacock theme and the flowers. Gluten free cakes were also made for a few of our guests who were coeliac. Jeni even improvised at last minute when my personalised topper hadn’t arrived in time, where she quickly made a flower decoration to sit on the top instead, on the very morning of the wedding!
The flower arrangements were breathtakingly beautiful and the photos really do not do them justice. I had wanted a very specific shade of magenta pink flowers to match the men’s ties, as well as blues and greens for the peacock theme. Jeni sourced everything and couldn’t have done them all more perfectly in terms of colour and design. She even sprayed gypsophila to add the turquoise blue I wanted. The large arrangements were absolutely incredible and the smaller ones matched perfectly. The long garland was fabulous for the head table. I asked for different sized hand bouquets for me, my Maid of Honour, the Bridesmaid and the Flower Girl, as well as flowers for the men’s buttonholes, and Jeni did all of these exactly as I expected and wanted. So many guests commented on how vibrant and beautiful the flowers were and they just loved the colours. The flowers really brought the whole colour scheme together and the photos of the bridal party with the flowers are simply stunning and have completely reflected what I had always imagined and dreamed of for our wedding. The flowers were also of very high quality, since they lasted for such a long time after the wedding.
Nothing I asked of Jeni was ever too much and she was so friendly and easy to communicate with throughout. She related so well to exactly what I had in my mind and she completely pulled it off in terms of making it a reality. I literally cannot fault anything at all. It’s no wonder she is a recommended supplier of the venue we chose and I would personally 100% recommend her myself to anyone.”

We used Jeni last May for our wedding to supply our flowers, cake and decorations and she seemed to understand exactly what we wanted (we were very picky and exact in our descriptions) but we have to say, she certainly delivered way above expectations and grasped our vision perfectly!
